STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSEMBLY (SGA)

Serving all currently enrolled SRJC students since 1918, the Student Government Assembly (SGA) is the official student voice to the college administration. SGA advocates for student rights, manages funds from student fees, and appoints students to serve on college-wide committees. Through this work, students gain real power to influence policies, support clubs and events, and expand basic needs and student success programs.
Interested in getting involved? We’re here to help you get heard, develop as a leader, and make real changes at SRJC!
All students who enroll at Santa Rosa Junior College are recognized as members of the Student Body and are afforded privileges and responsibilities through this membership.
This includes representation by the Student Government Assembly. For more information on what it means to be a member of the Student Body or opportunities for involvement, reach out to our officers or stop by one of our offices on the Santa Rosa and Petaluma campuses.

- The people of this State do not yield their sovereignty to the agencies which serve them. The people, in delegating authority, do not give their public servants the right to decide what is good for the people to know and what is not good for them to know. The people insist on remaining informed so that they may retain control over the instruments they have created."
